The motto expresses all of the content of the International Meeting of Cistercian Laics: listen to the Lord that calls us; be witness of the Resurrected; recognize our identity and follow Him.
Shortly the 4th International Meeting of Cistercian Laics will take place in the monastery of Santa Maria de Huerta (Spain). The Fraternity of Laics of the monastery would like you to feel very welcome, whether you come to the meeting or join the meeting by this website. We want you to know that we are thrilled to continue sharing that spirituality that unites us, joins us and that makes us walk hand in hand with our brothers in the monastery, without borders, neither geographic nor idiomatic.
During the meeting we are open to move forward in the understanding of OUR IDENTITY as cistercian laics, and to continue carry out that identity in the world outside of the monastery.
We ask the Holy Spirit that enlightens us, to keep our eyes open for His signs and His whispers, to leave space for his action, for He is the one that calls and reunites us.
